Your Security

OHAdmin is fully compliant with regards to the security of your data.   We adhere strictly to the Data Protection Act and the eight Data Protection Principles as recommended by the Information Commissioner’s Office.

OHAdmin would be happy to sign to your individual confidentiality agreements or statements should you wish.

When using our medical transcription services, your dictations will be sent through to a safe and secure dedicated email address to which only OHAdmin staff has access.   Your reports will be returned to you via this email address, fully encrypted with the password of your choice.   After a period of 24 hours your dictation recording and typed report will be completely removed from our computers, email folders and files.

OHAdmin uses a dedicated hardware firewall to increase security and reduce the potential threats from viruses.

If you require OHAdmin to retain any of your data, for example should you ask us to keep a record of your activities to provide regular statistical analysis; we will regularly backup your data to ensure it is protected against loss.

Your assurance

OHAdmin will strive to transcribe your recordings accurately.   In the event where any of your audio is inaudible or indiscernible we will highlight this to you when we return the report to you.   These sections will be highlighted in red text within your report.
